We started CozyPawsHome because we were tired of choosing between our cats and our homes.
CozyPawsHome is a small, independent publication reviewing cat furniture for people who care about design. We approach every product the way a lifestyle magazine approaches kitchenware: honestly, slowly, with an eye for material and proportion.
Every piece we review lives in a real home with real cats for at least three weeks before we write a word. We don't do star ratings. We don't do sponsored content. If we recommend something, it's because we'd put it in our own living room.
Sarah Kobayashi is an interior designer in Portland, Oregon. She shares her home with three cats — Miso, Yuzu, and Kuro — and has spent the better part of a decade trying to find cat furniture that doesn't make her wince. CozyPawsHome is the result of that search.
We test every product in a real living environment. Three cats, varying ages and temperaments, minimum three-week evaluation period. We assess stability, material quality, design integration, and long-term durability. We photograph in natural light. We write what we find.
